They also provide assistance to law enforcement and animal agencies with cruelty investigations, as well as the care and placement of horses. Freedom Ride provides therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with many types of disabilities. It is a 501c(3) non-profit, volunteer-based organization built on the conviction that we are not bound by our physical limitations. It is the only Premier Accredited NARHA facility in the Central Florida area, providing therapeutic riding to adults and children four years and older with Spina Bifida, mental retardation, autism, Down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, brain injury, speech-language disorders, among others. |
